I’ll never forget the day I got Pablo, it was in May 2009 and Pablo was about 10 weeks old. The breeder was based in Lincoln and I live in Glasgow so it was quite a drive down to pick up the little guy but totally worth it!
I have never “owned” a dog before but ever since I was young have always wanted one. Now as a responsible adult I had my chance.
Pablo was definately the runt of his litter – His parents were both Pugs, one a pedigree and one a 7/8th bred pug, his two brothers were both identical to Pugs where as he was completely different. I had always wanted a pedigree pug but living in Scotland they are so hard to come by and cost the earth so when I first saw Pablo from a photograph I was a little weary. Anyway I thought I would take the plung and go for the little guy after all he still looked really cute and slightly Puggish.
Well it turned out after the first time holding him that I knew I made the right decision, he was such a lovely little puppy and I completely fell in love with him straight away. He fitted straight into our little family and we have never looked back.
